2. Stop Eating Out

4. Sell Your Car

It is estimated that the average person spends approximately $7,000 to $11,000 a year on their car. Cars can be a great convenience for many, but the cost to make sure that it is adequately serviced, gassed and maintained can take a huge hit on your expenses. This is not even counting the potential monthly costs along with vehicle registration, repairs, insurance, oil changes and more. If you have the capacity to get where you need to go through public transportation, walking or biking, you should do so. Do not let the stigma of not driving a car prevent you from saving time and money. You will be better off in the long run for it.
